Psionic classes are mostly absent simply because I don't have enough experience with them. This post is NOT intended to state which class is "best" or "sucks." It is only a measure of the power and versatility of classes for balance purposes. If it's stronger than Tier 1, you definitely blew it. Generally, I like Tier 3 as a balance point, but I know many people prefer Tier 4. Pick a Tier you think your class should be in, and when you've made your class compare it to the rest of the Tier. However, if the player is asking to be allowed to be a Venerable White Dragonspawn Dragonwrought Kobold Sorcerer and the rest of the party is a Monk, a Fighter, and a Rogue, maybe you shouldn't let that fly.ĥ) To help homebrewers judge the power and balance of their new classes. Serious issues arise when the party is composed of some members which are extremely powerful and others which are extremely weak, leading to a situation where the DM has two choices: either make the game too easy for the strong members, or too hard for the weak members. If it's weak and inflexible, the DM can lower the challenge level and complexity. If the group as a whole is very powerful and flexible, the DM can simply up the challenge level and complexity of the encounters. I don't think it will apply? I personally prefer to be night elf on a rogue in 19s because of the high dodge chance the class has at such a low level.My general philosophy is that the only balance that really matters in D&D is the interclass balance between the various PCs in a group. they say you can use in combat in TBC, but why on earth would it still be 10 sec CD? Would be incredibly abused.

I personally love combining with in higher brackets - will get increased from 5% to 10% Human racial is great counter to stealthies, obviously. doesn't give an OP difference, but it does contribute to you and your team I think hunters, priests, mages and ele shamans gets most benefit from itĭraenei's healing is not as OP as it is in wotlk has cast time and doesn't seem to scale with attack power etc - but they can give their entire group either or. Troll racial is a really, really powerful burst. Orcs resist chance to stuns get nerfed, but their berserk gets improved if you're, adds spell damage and attack power if you're a shaman - ĭwarves racial has been OP from vanilla to shadowlands, only tricky part is to know when to use it. From to īlood elves, mana tap and silence + energy/mana gain are all great traits Gnome racial gets improved, no cast-time in TBC, but longer cd however. or just use it to get a 100% chance of slowing anyone with hamstring/wing clip etc Is probably most BiS in entire WSG, use it when flag carrier is about to die and its like 100% chance you will grab the flag from everyone.
